Yimeng (Yuki) is a Chinese artist and film director born in Wuhan, based in Los Angeles. She graduated from UCLA with an Art History B.A. in 2019.
Since 2020, she directed over 30 episodes of stop-motion animation for DA Culture Int'l Inc. In 2022, she started her own production company, Salon de Paprika.
Her directing work explores clandestine self-deconstructive criticism and the connection between memory, reality, and synesthesia. Her previous films have been selected at Oscar qualifying festivals and screened internationally.
She is working on a proof of concept short film for her first feature script, The Flâneuse.
