Vanessa Pegram is a comedy writer, script reader, and founder of Script Rx Consultancy. She writes half-hour comedies about strong female characters and earned degrees from Columbia College (B.A. in Fiction Writing) and the American Film Institute Conservatory (M.F.A. in Screenwriting). Vanessa lives with chronic illnesses including Lyme disease and PTSD, which she sees as equally important to physical health. Her writing often tackles mental health and chronic illness, aiming to make these invisible issues visible.
