Steve Race is one of the top up-and-coming directors in the entertainment industry. He graduated from Florida Southern College with a degree in Film and Television Production in 1996.
After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in show business, working as a Director's Assistant to Louis J. Horvitz on numerous TV shows including the Academy Awards and Emmy Awards. In 2001, Steve started directing projects on his own.
He produced and directed the Latin Grammy's event, "Latin Style", in 2001, and directed the First Annual Visual Effect Society Awards in 2003, which won all 12 categories for "Lord of the Rings". He also created a comedy series with Code Black Entertainment and produced a Comedy DVD hosted by Brett Butler.
In 2011, Steve made his directorial debut with the feature film "I'm In Love With A Church Girl", starring Jeff Ja Rule Atkins and Adrienne Bailon. The film opened as #1 independent film in America and played on over 450 screens in 2013.
