Madison-based screenwriter and director, Sachin Bhargava Dharwadker, educated at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts as a Martin Scorsese Young Filmmakers Scholar, is now based in Los Angeles. He has experienced programs like Sundance Ignite, the Sundance Episodic Lab, and others. Currently, he is working on a drama series, THE KOLATKARS, with Starz and Paramount Television Studios, developing a new short film for festivals, and his first feature. His filmmaking centers on human stories, exploring moral implications specifically related to non-white individuals. His goal is to provoke thought and deep emotion through his films. In his free time, he enjoys reading, spending time with loved ones, and supporting the Liverpool Football Club.
