Mariscela Beatríz Méndez is a Chicana Director of Photography from San Antonio, Texas. She has worked with clients including Vanity Fair, Google, and Slamdance, among others. A recipient of several fellowships, including the Women in Film INSIGHT Fellowship and The Peregrine Collective Grant, Méndez often works on projects centered around LatinX identity, female-driven films, and magical realism. Based in Los Angeles, she collaborates worldwide.
