Kim is a writer/producer/director who creates absurd comedies. She co-founded Scrappy Cat Productions, which produces features, docs, music videos, and shorts. Her first feature, Angel's Perch, was in the Kickstarter Hall of Fame and screened in 250+ theaters. Her second film, Auld Lang Syne, was a low-budget experiment. Kim then directed short-form docs for Sundance producer Ted Dintersmith. She has written, produced, directed, and performed Off-Broadway and taught theatre at UT Austin and WV Wesleyan. Kim holds a BA in Theatre from USF and an MFA from UT Austin. She lives in LA, Stamford, and WV with her husband and three cats.
