Kathryn Orwig is a film and TV writer who started out writing novels in Traverse City, Michigan. She discovered screenplays at the University of Michigan and fell in love with the medium. Kathryn writes primarily adventure dramas. She has won or placed highly in multiple screenwriting competitions, acted as a final-round judge at the National Film Festival for Talented Youth, written 20 animation scripts, and judged several other competitions. In her free time, she researches long-dead ancestors and learns languages such as Russian, Scottish Gaelic, Polish, and Swedish.
