Jackie is from the Midwest, graduating from Ohio State University and later attending graduate school at Cincinnati University. She worked as a Spanish teacher before moving to LA to become a TV writer. Her writing focuses on female-driven stories with complicated family dynamics and friendships. Notable credits include a semifinalist for The Breakk Screenwriting Competition with her Blackish spec "Downsizing" and staff writer positions on Turner & Hooch (Disney+) and 4400 (CW).
