Gina DeAngelis is a writer/director/producer of shorts ASK FOR HELP and THE SANDWICH KING, and writer of EVERYTHING FUN YOU COULD POSSIBLY DO IN ALEDO, ILLINOIS. She holds a Master's in history and has published 60+ nonfiction works, including a period drama that won an Emmy Award. DeAngelis completed a screenwriting MFA in 2020 and wrote 13 commissioned micro-short documentaries in 2021. Her work features protagonists from marginalized groups and has appeared on PBS, magazines, classrooms, and performed live for Queen Elizabeth II.
