Evette Vargas is a notable writer, director, and producer recognized in Forbes and the New York Times. She has created digital content for Amazon, MTV, Bravo, DirectTV, and Vivendi, as well as interactive media for high-profile projects. She wrote, directed and executive-produced her digital series, Dark Prophet, starring Henry Rollins. She's currently the showrunner and writer for a new AAA narrative videogame and is producing a European feature film. Her most recent work includes the award-winning short, Confessions, and she has developed a series for Shout! Factory, written the film, Rapping with Shakespeare, and sold the drama series, Muses, to TNT Super Deluxe. She also worked as TV Development Executive at Hidden Empire Film Group. A member of prominent industry guilds, she holds a BFA in Film and Television from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and an MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA.
