Esther (she/her/they/them) was born in Seoul, South Korea. They moved to the U.S at eight years old. Esther graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Art in 2021 with a BFA Drama and BA in History.

Since graduating, they have worked with CPM Talent Management. Esther has appeared in several short films, including Roadtrip, which they wrote and acted in. Their screenplays, Han and Blue Hour, received awards at various film festivals, including New York Script Awards, Best Script Awards - London, and Indie Short Fest in LA.

Esther is also the film festival coordinator for One & Other Productions, advocating for projects from underrepresented voices. As a storyteller, Esther advocates for artists of global majority identities.
