Denise Santos is an Emmy-winning composer based in Los Angeles, California. She has worked with Hans Zimmer and Sony/ATV's Bleeding Fingers Music, and her music has been featured in The Moment: How Sports Changed the World (Amazon Prime), Island of the Sea Wolves (Netflix), Eden: Untamed Planet (BBC America), and Primates (BBC One/PBS). In 2021, she won the News & Documentary Emmy for Outstanding Music Composition and the ASCAP Foundation Michelle & Dean Kay Award for emerging composers in the LA area. Her compositions blend classical, alternative, pop, rock, and world music to create powerful soundscapes for diverse stories.
