Carly Usdin (they/them) is an award-winning filmmaker based in Los Angeles. They have directed several short films, including "MISDIRECTION" and "FIRST DATE," which gained over 100k YouTube views. Carly has also worked on branded content for clients like Funny or Die, Viacom, and YouTube, as well as the digital series "TAWK" and "WIZARD SCHOOL DROPOUT." They have received recognition through the Universal's Directors Initiative and American Film Institute's Directing Workshop for Women. Additionally, Carly is a comic book creator with BOOM! Studios' titles "HEAVY VINYL" (2018 Prism award nominee) and "THE AVANT-GUARDS" (2020 GLAAD Award nominee).
