Benjamin Hosking is a writer-director based in Los Angeles whose work explores mental health, queer sexuality, and emotional vulnerability.

As one of the first pre-adolescent children diagnosed with early-onset bipolar disorder, he draws on his experiences to create psychological dramas and thrillers.

Hosking earned an MFA in directing from the AFI Conservatory in 2021 and was a recipient of Tufts University’s P.T. Barnum Young Alum in Entertainment Award in 2019.

His thesis film AND I MISS YOU LIKE A LITTLE KID, which premiered at Dances With Films in 2022, addresses isolation and domestic abuse, inspired by his own experience as a survivor.
