Austin Rourke is a Los Angeles-based writer/director in pre-production for his first feature film, The Great God Pan. His thesis film, A Strange Calm, was selected at festivals including Fantasia International, Sitges International, and Dances with Films, and is now streaming on Alter and Alter’s YouTube channel. He is also co-manager of Nightshade Pictures, which will produce The Great God Pan. Rourke previously worked as 2nd Unit Director for Michael Spiccia. Born in Boston, he holds a BA from Rutgers University and an MFA from the American Film Institute.
