Alexis Adkins was born in Georgia and lived in several other states and countries, including Mexico. She kept herself occupied through reading, writing, performing, and acting. For years, she worked for pharmaceutical companies while pursuing her creative passions as a producer, director, actor, and screenwriter. Her first pilot won an A&E option. She is also involved with animal rescue and welfare.
