Alberta Poon is a first-generation Chinese American director and screenwriter based in PDX/LA. Her work combines comedic flair, surreal-like imagery, and vibrant color to explore the Asian-American diaspora experience. Influenced by her background as a musician, editor, and videographer, she fosters inclusivity within underrepresented communities.

Her films have screened at numerous festivals, including Bend Film Festival, Tacoma Film Festival, SPLIFF, Pérez Art Museum Miami, and Vogue (twice), RollingStone, and Broccoli Magazine. She has also directed commercials for Nike, Sapporo, TikTok, Adidas, Society Nine, Google, and She Shreds Media, featured by Ads of the World, Campaign US, and Free the Work.
